It made perfect sense at Scecina Memorial High School, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Not only for their athletics out-building – the “blockhouse” but as a reflection of one of the institution’s core values, STEWARDSHIP: Receiving, cultivating, and sharing God’s gifts gratefully and generously. For Scecina, we installed the photovoltaic panels in the form of a cross to capture this gift of energy.
Johnson-Melloh installed the Sun Bandit solar hot water system to harness the natural energy from the sun, to provide hot water for athletics teams showers, laundering of uniforms and more in this facility. It was perfect timing leading into the heaviest time of year – football season.
